David Beckham's Tattoos

David Beckham's tattoos are probably the most photographed of all celebrities. It seems like almost every time you see a picture of him, he has added a new tattoo to his collection. He loves getting ones done of his children’s names. He also has a few that are religious, like the angel on his back.

I guess the angel was his most popular one. It was a creation of Lou Molloy from the London Ink TV programme. He has many celebrity clients and is one of the most respected tattooists in the UK. People travel for miles to get their tattoos done by Lou and his appointment list grows longer and longer. So you need to book early and be prepared to pay his professional rates for getting that awesome tattoo done for yourself.

David seems to be running out of places to get new tattoos done. I’m sure there are many that haven’t been photographed in certain places of his body but even the ones that show are covering up a large portion of his body. He likes religious ones that have a meaning to him or his family.

Obviously Victoria Beckham doesn’t seem to mind them, as he doesn’t look like slowing down his tattoo fetish any time soon!

But you can of course choose to make your own unique butterfly design and give it to your tattooist to work his or her magic. Often they will take a simple design and really turn it into a piece of art to be proud of. So don’t think you have to stick to ones in their gallery. Just get an idea and expand on it with the tattooist. They will work wonders at giving you the tattoo that suits exactly what you were after.

Once you have chosen a shape you like and decided what colours to use, it is then time to decide where on your body to put it. On the reverse of the shoulder blade is a very popular option for women. Men sometimes get them on their upper arms to symbolise something personal, like the start of something new in their lives.

Once you have decided on everything, pay your tattooist, sit back and think of nice things whilst undergoing 10 minutes of small pain! It will be well worth it in the end!
